Pear and oat purée

The perfect way to incorporate oats into your baby’s meals.


  • Pear and Oat Purée
  • 3 dates (seeds removed)
  • 2 pears
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup water

> Place dates in small bowl and cover with hot water. Soak for
at least 10 minutes. Drain, reserving water for purée.

>Remove core and chop pear into small pieces. Combine pear, oats, and water in a medium saucepan and heat on medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes or until pear is tender.

>Combine dates and pear mixture in a blender and purée until smooth. If needed, you can add a little date water for a thinner purée. Let cool slightly before serving.
