Mini golf is an awesome way to spend some time with the kids and ignite their competitive spirit. There are some pretty fun mini golf courses in Canterbury, so round up the kids and get golfing.
City Putt & Cruise
Where? 240 Armagh Street, Christchurch Central
Located in Central City Christchurch, City Putt and & Cruise has an 18-hole course that looks to celebrate Christchurch’s past. So you’ll be able to learn facts about Christchurch whilst putting.
Riccarton Park Golf Complex
Where? Steadman Road, Yaldhurst, Riccarton, Christchurch
Riccarton’s Golf Complex features an awesome Scottish-themed mini putt course. There are plenty of challenges on the course, including logs, ramps, bagpipes, a long drop and a castle, but perhaps the biggest challenge is making sure the Loch Ness Monster doesn’t steal your ball.
The Ferrymead Golf course has two courses: an indoor and outdoor course, which means the weather is no excuse to not get your putt on! The outdoor course, Volcano Park, is an 18-hole adventure course with a waterfall and a volcano in a lovely garden setting, but fear not, it is still challenging! Your ball will be required to go through an old shed in a volcano, up a hill, over a pond and through or over multiple ramps in search of a hole-in-one. Or, if the indoor course is more your style, you’ll need to make sure you keep an eye out, because that course has a zombie and monster theme, with a new scare on every hole.
Alpine Crazy Putt
Where? 1 Conical Hill Road, Hanmer Springs , North Canterbury
