Need to know

Wellington Recreation Centres offer a variety of birthday party packages for preschoolers through to 12 years.

You can:

either hire a Party Pilot who will take the children through a fun set of interactive activities – adapting them to meet the needs and abilities of your child and their guests
or just hire the space at the recreation centre and run your own party

There’s a range of options available, depending on where you want to have the party.

Children aged 3–5 years can enjoy fun with a bouncy castle!

For school children (aged 5–12 years old) there are two options:

cooperative or party games, ride-on cars and inflatable
sports party where you can choose two of the following:
- football
- basketball
- netball

We run these parties on Saturday afternoons at the following times:

Tinytown Birthday

Preschoolers (children aged 1-4 years) can enjoy a Tinytown Birthday Package, which includes:

Maximum of 20 children for Tinytown birthdays.

Wheels Birthday

School children (aged 5-12 years) can choose a Wheels Birthday Package, which includes:

This is for a maximum of 20 children and you can bring your own wheels too!

Private facility hire

Children or adults can choose to hire the whole facility for two hours (on Friday nights or Sunday afternoons) – this includes:
