Birthday parties are a joyous occasion that kids look forward to all year. Auckland is bursting with party venues, whether you’ve got an adventurous explorer who loves burning energy or a sophisticated dreamer who loves tea parties, there’s sure to be somewhere on our list that ticks all your boxes. Here are some of the perfect venues in auckland for children’s birthday parties:
1. Auckland Zoo
Where? Motions Rd, Auckland
We’re all going to the Auckland Zoo, zoo, zoo for a party! Every child loves the zoo, so make it an all day experience, where you can have some party time in your own venue with dedicated hosts, personalised invitations and a gift for the birthday child from the Zoo. You are able to self-cater or you can organise a cake and platters made by the helpful Zoo catering team to take the stress away! Then keep the party going for your guests with all day access to the Zoo, where they can run around, see the animals and play on the Dino inspired technicolour slides. There’s 2x priority parking for party guests as well (whoop whoop!).
2. Inflatable World
Where? Auckland Central, Manukau & Glenfield
Home to the country’s largest indoor inflatable fun, look no further for an action-packed day your kids will love. This colourful world hosts countless inflatable slides, ball pits, running challenges, obstacle courses and more. It’s suitable for the whole family, however children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian so you can be sure they are safe. Rooms are available for hosting parties and are free for you to decorate as you please, just make sure all your guests bring socks as they are a must to enter Inflatable World. We suspect the Dads might enjoy it even more than the kids. Found at three locations over Auckland, there’s sure to be one in your hood.
3. The beach
Where? All over Auckland
Not all parties have to cost. We think some of the best fun can happen outside in Auckland’s beautiful natural spaces, and the beach is top of the list. Wherever you are located around the city, you are sure to only be a drive away from a beach. We recommend flat safe beaches such as Takapuna or St Heliers. Head on down with picnic blankets, food, balls to kick around, and enjoy the sun. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
4. Kiwi Valley Farm Park
Where? 308 Henderson Valley Road, Henderson Valley
Kiwi Valley Farm Park will enrich your family’s life with a touch of rural New Zealand. This gorgeous rustic venue is ideal for animal-loving, nature-loving kids. Inside, enjoy the vibe of the barn and outside, enjoy horse riding, maze navigating, trailer rides, bunny cuddling and the farmyard. This is a party no-one will forget, and the kids will be begging to go back. Escape the city life and relax into an awesome celebration.
5. Clevedon Animal Farm
Where? 271 Clevedon-Kawakawa Road, Papakura
Clevedon Animal Farm is another one for the animal lovers. Nothing beats a birthday party filled with riding ponies and donkeys. Children’s ponies and animal parties are extremely popular, and involve hand-feeding small animals on the farm, leading the ponies around the track, and even helping to groom them with brushes. Make your pony-loving child’s dreams come true and treat them for a special day they will remember forever!
