If you’ve got a little Minecraft fan (or a big one) in your household, Woolworths is about to make their day way more exciting. For two days only, they’re bringing Minecraft to life in a fun and tasty way—introducing the Cubeez™ Sandwich Station!
When & Where
- Saturday, March 1st at Point Erin Park – 11am – 3pm
- Sunday, March 2nd at Coyle Park – 11am – 3pm
For one weekend only, families can stop by and try Minecraft-inspired cubed sandwiches from a special food truck. It’s a chance to bring a little of the game world into real life—while also sorting out some yummy bites.
What’s on the menu?
Woolworths is serving up a creative, in-game-meets-real-world selection of sandwiches, including:
- Slime’s Jelly Delight – A sweet, wobbly treat that’s sure to be a hit.
- Cooked Chicken Sandwich – Bringing a Minecraft favourite to life in sandwich form.
- Golden Apple Treat – A honey-glazed ham pairing inspired by the legendary item.
- Fiery Piglin Stack – A sweet chili sausage and bacon combo for those who like a little kick.
Each sandwich is made using Woolworths’ Own range and fresh seasonal ingredients, keeping things simple and tasty.
Visitors to the Cubeez™ Sandwich Station can also collect a free Minecraft Cubeez™ collectible, part of Woolworths’ exclusive range available with every $30 spent in-store or online. With 40 different Cubeez™ to collect, these stackable, buildable cardboard blocks feature familiar characters like Steve, Alex, Creepers, and even iconic game elements like crafting tables and diamond ore.
There will also be life-size Cubeez™ blocks at the event for kids to play with, meaning plenty of hands-on fun to go along with the snacks!
Can’t make it to Auckland?
No worries! You can still collect Minecraft Cubeez™ by spending $30 at Woolworths Supermarkets, MILKRUN, or Metro stores. If your kids are serious about their collection, there’s even a special collector’s case available in-store and online for $11.
Even More Minecraft Fun
With the highly anticipated Minecraft movie set to release in April 2025 (filmed right here in Aotearoa!), Minecraft mania is only getting bigger. Woolworths’ collaboration with the game is a fun way for families to bring their kids’ favourite virtual world into real life—one bite at a time.
So, whether your kids are obsessed with Minecraft or just love a fun snack, this event might be worth adding to your weekend plans. Just prepare yourself for future requests that all of their sandwiches be cut into cubes from now on.
