Ranchslaw Hash Browns


  • 1 pack LeaderBrand Ranchslaw
  • 1 medium kumara, grated (can use potato if your kids prefer)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • Pepper to season
  • 1 red chilli, sliced, to serve (optional)


Combine Ranchslaw, kumara, eggs, rice flour, pepper and salt in a bowl and mix well.

Heat a frying pan over a medium-high heat, add the oil and place tablespoonfuls of mixture into the oil, 4-5 at a time. Fry the hash browns for 3-4 minutes each side until golden brown.

Serve with the dressing from the Ranchslaw packet drizzled over the hash browns and top with sliced chilli if desired.
