Cooling Sparkling Summer Soda


  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 lime sliced into thin wedges
  • ½ nectarine sliced into thin wedges
  • 4 mint leaf stalks
  • 20 ice cubes
  • 1 litre (quart) sparkling (soda) water

Place the ingredients into a jug in the order listed. Finish with the sparkling water. Alternatively divide the ingredients in quarter and put directly into your serving glasses.

Tip: If the fruit and herbs are clumping together you can use the end of a wooden spoon to gently move them into a more balanced position
