Slime Spookers Craft

Slime is still super-popular, and these Halloween-themed slime creations will have your little trick-or-treaters screaming with delight!

What you’ll need:

• Googly eyes
• Jars with lids
• Black felt or washi tape
• Hot glue or double sided tape
• Bowl and spoons (for mixing)
• Scissors

Pumpkin

• 177ml Elmer’s glue
• orange food colouring
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 1/2 tbsp contact lens solution

Alien

• 177ml glow-in-the-dark Elmer’s glue
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 1/2 tbsp contact lens solution

Ghost

• 1 cup cheap hair conditioner
• 2 cups cornstarch

*Note: Make sure the contact lens solution lists boric acid in its ingredients.

Instructions

PUMPKIN AND ALIEN

1. Pour the glue into a bowl. For the alien, pour in the green glitter glue on its own; for the pumpkin, add a few drops of orange food colouring to the white glue in the bowl and stir to combine.
2. Add baking soda to glue mixture and mix in.
3. Add half the contact lens solution to the glue mixture. Mix in, then slowly add in the rest.
4. Continue mixing until your slime forms and begins to harden. If it’s not the desired consistency, keep kneading it. If the slime is still too sticky, add a little more contact lens solution, but be careful not to add too much or it will make your slime too hard.
5. Decorate your jar as desired and pour slime in to store.

GHOST

1. In a bowl, combine hair conditioner and cornstarch, then knead together until you’re happy with the consistency.
2. Decorate your jar as desired and pour slime in to store.
